Shayla is an experienced therapist with over 15 years of working with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and alcohol/substance misuse. She offers a holistic approach to person-centered care in a non-judgmental, supportive, and safe space. Shayla places a strong emphasis on building trust with her clients and tailoring treatment towards individual needs while using a strengths-based perspective.

By helping you examine your insecurities, doubts, and self-defeating thoughts, Shayla will guide you towards hope, a greater self-awareness, and an overall positive self-regard in order to improve the quality of your life.
Shayla utilizes a variety of behavioral and mindful approaches and tools, including Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Harm Reduction, Abstinence Based Relapse Prevention, and Trauma Informed Care.
