About Aurea
Aurea De Los Santos is a licensed clinical social worker. Aurea prides herself on being an understanding, caring, honest, non-judgmental, empathetic, and knowledgeable therapist. No matter how big or small a situation is, she meets her patients where they are and helps them find solutions through every step of recovery. Her goal is to help her patients achieve their goals. Aurea uses a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, task-centered practices, patient-centered practices, social learning therapy, and systems theory. She bases her approach on crisis intervention and problem-solving models. Since she started providing therapy in 2008, Aurea has cultivated experience treating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship issues, self-esteem problems, stress, trauma, PTSD, women’s issues, and mood disorders. She treats patients ages 18-65. Outside of work, Aurea enjoys reading, listening to music (all kinds), watching and playing sports, and spending time outdoors. She speaks English and Spanish.

About Angeli
Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.
Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music. She grew up inTrinidad and Tobago.
