Banafsheh Sanjari is a licensed clinical social worker. Banafsheh provides a strengths-based, person-centered, eclectic approach tailored to each patient’s goals and needs. She empowers her patients so they can achieve their goals and build a life they want. In the session, Banafsheh uses cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques. She creates a culturally-sensitive, comfortable, safe environment for her patients so they can speak from the heart. Banafsheh has been providing therapy since 2016 and works with patients up to 64 years old. She treats ADHD, anxiety, maladaptive coping skills, depression, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), peer relationships, intimate relationship issues, school-related issues, self-esteem problems, stress, trauma, PTSD, women’s issues, impulse control issues, mood disorders. She also has extensive experience working with high-risk patients. Outside of work, Banafsheh loves reading fiction. She speaks Farsi and English.

Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.
Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music. She grew up inTrinidad and Tobago.
