About Brenda

Brenda Ferguson is a licensed professional counselor.  Brenda uses the client's strengths to assist with current issues they may be having difficulty moving through. Her patients can expect a reliable and solution-focused partnership throughout their journey of healing. She is empathetic, clear, flexible, honest, and approachable.  

Brenda uses solution-focused therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), and EMDR. Her goal is to support clients so that they are able to continue engaging in a life that is healthy and meaningful.  Brenda works with patients ages 18-65 and has experience in crisis and residential settings. She treats those experiencing anxiety, maladaptive coping skills, depression, grief, life transition difficulties, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, insomnia, stress, trauma, and PTSD.   Outside of work, Brenda loves to travel, spend time with her family, hike, and read.

About Angeli

Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.

Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music. She grew up inTrinidad and Tobago.
