About Melanie

Melanie G. Gerald is a licensed clinical social worker. Melanie prides herself on creating a warm environment for her patients to work through whatever’s causing them distress. She seeks to connect with her patients so they know they’re not alone. Melanie works with patients ages 13-64 and specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, motivational interviewing, and a strengths-based approach. Her style is conversational, asking lots of questions and encouraging storytelling. She helps patients unpack their memories, identify what no longer serves them, and develop healthy coping strategies in their place. Melanie helps patients cope with ADHD, anxiety, maladaptive coping skills, depression, grief, peer relationships, self-esteem problems, stress, dual diagnoses, trauma, PTSD, women’s issues, mood disorders, chronic illnesses, chronic pain, and LGBTQIA+ issues. When she’s not at work, Melanie loves reading, singing, traveling, and a good fantasy story.

Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered.
