Alicia Allen is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. Alicia starts by asking patients about their treatment goals and expectations. This creates an open dialogue that improves treatment outcomes. She supports each patient’s mental and physical health by integrating evidence-based, patient-centered techniques. Alicia considers it her mission to show empathy, active listening, and flexibility. Her ultimate goal is to fight the stigma surrounding mental health so more people can speak openly about their needs and experiences. Alicia has been treating patients since 2010. She works with patients ages 18-65 and provides medication management for ADHD, anxiety, maladaptive coping skills, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), self-esteem problems, sleep disorders, insomnia, stress, dual diagnoses, trauma, PTSD, and mood disorders. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy and humanistic therapy techniques during appointments. Outside of work, Alicia enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and doing community service.

Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.
Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music. She grew up inTrinidad and Tobago.
