About Amanda
Amanda Sibbitts is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. Amanda recognizes that prioritizing mental health is challenging for many people. To help remedy this, she provides flexible scheduling and empathy for each patient’s circumstances. She helps her patients achieve their ideal wellness through holistic treatment approaches that motivate them to improve their lives. Patients can feel comfortable being open and honest with Amanda without fear of judgment. While Amanda often prescribes medications, she limits their use as much as possible to help her patients find relief while reducing their risk of side effects. Amanda is experienced in working with diverse populations and sees patients ages 7-65. She uses supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and medication management to help her patients navigate issues like ADHD, anxiety, maladaptive coping skills, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, school issues, self-esteem problems, sleep disorders, insomnia, stress, trauma, PTSD, and mood disorders. When she’s not working, Amanda often spends her time reading, listening to podcasts, watching documentaries, and walking her dog.
