About Brian
Brian is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner that incorporates a holistic approach to providing patients with exceptional care. He believes that a well-balanced mind and body is essential towards an individual’s optimum health and well-being. Brian uses an empathetic approach to build therapeutic relationships with his patients to improve their overall quality of life. Brian has experience working with patients suffering from various mental illnesses and has worked previously in both the inpatient setting as well as psychiatric emergency room setting. Prior to nursing, he has an extensive background in counseling and psychology which he incorporates into his practice. Brian believes in using evidence -based research and the latest technology to assist patients in meeting their mental health needs. His goal is to empower patients through the use of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy to foster emotional and spiritual growth.

About Angeli
Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.
Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music. She grew up inTrinidad and Tobago.
