Emmie Macalisang is a compassionate board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a focus on a holistic and person-centered approach. She was recognized and nominated for the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses while working as a Psych RN in an inpatient unit. She prides herself in providing collaborative and respectful care where clients feel attended to and valued. She has experience in caring for a diverse population with various mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and adjustment disorders. Her goal is to empower her clients to become active partners in their care, take control of their own mental health, and live productive lives. Her treatment approach is integrating genetic testing, medication management, talk therapy, and patient education.

Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music.
