Valerie is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 9 years of nursing experience working with individuals across the lifespan. She believes in offering care customized to each client experience. Her treatment modalities include a combination of psychotherapy and psychopharmacology to create treatment plans that are patient specific. Valerie has been and will continue to be committed to excellence throughout her personal and professional life. Being able to create a space to allow people to feel comfortable enough to get the help they need is one of her prouder accomplishments. She started working in the field of Mental Health over 9 years ago and fell in love with it. She realized that there was an overwhelming need for more access to Mental Health services and care. Her passion in life has become to normalize mental health and to allow people to feel safe expressing themselves. Valerie believes that together we can change the narrative and begin to lead lives that are more fulfilling. Her primary focus is treating depression, mood disorders, anxiety, and ADHD.

Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.
Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music. She grew up inTrinidad and Tobago.
