Vanessa A. Menjivar is a board-certified mental health psychiatric nurse practitioner. Vanessa understands that most patients have struggled to find treatment due to lack of access, reluctance to seek help, and stigma. To combat these issues, Vanessa creates a safe space where patients can feel comfortable and supported. She guides her patients through self-actualization and empowerment so they can grow and adapt to life’s challenges. Vanessa uses cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy. During appointments, patients can expect warmth, compassion, open-mindedness, and validation as they explore their history, life experiences, fears and barriers to treatment, and their goals. Vanessa has been providing care since 2018 and works with patients ages 5-65. She provides medication management for ADHD, anxiety, maladaptive coping skills, depression, grief, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), school issues, sleep disorders, insomnia, stress, trauma, PTSD, impulse and control disorders, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, behavioral dysregulation. Outside of work, Vanessa loves running, shopping, baking, reading, and staying updated on K-pop drama.

Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.
Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music. She grew up inTrinidad and Tobago.
