Ayokunmi (Kunmi) is a warm and compassionate board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with varied experience treating clients across the lifespan in inpatient and outpatient settings. She graduated with the highest honors from Walden University with a Master of Science in Nursing Degree. She has experience working with individuals suffering from acute and chronic mental health symptoms including but not limited to mood disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and ADHD.  Her approach is to use current evidence-based guidelines to provide empathetic, nonjudgmental, individualized care that is best suited to each client’s specific needs. She is also able to provide trauma-informed care. She works with clients as they begin their road to recovery and empowers each client to maximize wellness and achieve their best quality of life. She offers flexible appointments that accommodate your specific needs.

 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the beach with family and friends and traveling.
