Belinda has always been committed to excellence throughout her personal and professional life. Finding reasons to evolve each day is just the beginning of her journey to wellness in mental health. Belinda is ANCC certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She holds dual Master of Science in Nursing from both Adelphi University and Molloy College. In addition, Belinda holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from New York University. With her multiple degrees, she brings exceptional knowledge and experience in emergency medicine, internal medicine, pain management, nephrology, gastroenterology, healthcare management, and now psychiatry.
Belinda realized there was an overwhelming need for more access to mental health services which warranted her career change. Having a family member battle major depression and helping her avoid multiple suicide attempts made her realize this transition was a need.
Belinda has witnessed many shy away from getting the help that they need due to the significant amount of negative stigma associated with mental illness. Her passion in life has become normalizing mental health and allowing people to feel comfortable talking about it. Having worked in multiple specialty care areas, mental health care is just as important as going to your primary care provider for your health and wellness visits. She believes in no more suffering in silence and no more being judged for talking about mental illness. Her goal is to decrease hospital stays while providing excellent care to patients right from the comfort of their own homes. Her primary focus is treating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and ADHD.

Medical Insurance Overview
Most of our providers are in-network with the following plans: Cigna, Meritain Health, Optum (Oscar, Oxford Health Plans, UnitedHealthcare) and Wellfleet. Fees for treatment vary depending on length of appointment and type of treatment received. Payment should be made at the time of the visit. We do accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA.
