Claudia A. Rhanes is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. Claudia helps her patients achieve their goals and restore normalcy to their lives. She is passionate about delivering holistic, individualized care. She believes that empathizing with her patients and normalizing their experiences can help them feel calmer. She educates her patients and draws on their natural strengths to build confidence and self-esteem. Her ultimate goal is to support her patients so they can achieve their highest goals in life.
During appointments, patients can expect to cultivate a respectful, trusting therapeutic relationship that will foster their recovery and self-actualization. Claudia uses a blend of treatment approaches to accomplish this, including behavioral, cognitive, interpersonal, supportive, and psychodynamic therapies. Claudia has been providing therapy since 2016 and works with patients ages 18-65. She treats ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and mood disorders. She also provides medication management. Outside of work, Claudia loves picnicking, biking with her kids, going on walks, and spending time outdoors. Claudia enjoys working for SohoMD because of the supportive environment and the emphasis on patient safety.

Medical Insurance Overview
Most of our providers are in-network with the following plans: Cigna, Meritain Health, Optum (Oscar, Oxford Health Plans, UnitedHealthcare) and Wellfleet. Fees for treatment vary depending on length of appointment and type of treatment received. Payment should be made at the time of the visit. We do accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA.
