Eva Kirara is a Board Certified Primary Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington in 2018 with a Master's Degree in Nursing. Eva has been a Registered nurse for 11 years now and her interest in psychiatry began at a very tender age. She had a family member who exhibited mental health symptoms in her young adulthood which was often overlooked due to stigmas associated with mental health, especially in her country. She passed away in her late thirties and unfortunately was never diagnosed. It was because of her, that she became passionate about mental health as she now understands it is the foundation that allows us to be the best mental health providers we can be for our patients. As a provider, she is able to integrate a holistic-relationship-building approach to quality care delivery that meets patients at difficult points in their lives and guides them towards well-being. Additionally, she provides compassionate, comprehensive, holistic, evidence-based, high-quality care that is able to fill the gap in accessing mental health services. A client can expect strong communication skills which enable her to work effectively with her peers and colleagues. Eva possesses a sense of empathy that helps her understand my patient and be able to provide specialized care. She believes in working as a team in collaboration with psychiatrists and social workers to provide a wide scope of care possible to her patients.
