Linda Floyd is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. Since beginning to work with patients in 2014, Linda has engaged with patients in a variety of treatment settings. She understands the distress and impaired functioning her patients are experiencing. Her goal is to engage with patients to reduce their distress, improve functioning, and help them reach their potential. Linda develops a therapeutic alliance with each patient, using best practices to set treatment goals and select the proper treatment plan. She combines psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological approaches, including mindfulness stress reduction techniques.

Linda treats a wide variety of mental health concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, medication management, obsessive-compulsive disorder, sleep issues, trauma, PTSD, personality disorders, and autism spectrum disorders. Outside of work, Linda’s life is made richer by her grandchildren and Maltese fur baby named Furgi. She enjoys thrillers, mysteries, and travel. Linda enjoys working with SohoMD and is impressed by the community of professionals who support her work with patients.
