Maryam Lateef is a holistic board-certified mental health nurse practitioner, energy medicine practitioner, and member of the American Holistic Nurses Association. Maryam specializes in combining holistic methods and psychiatric medication to treat depression, grief, trauma, anxiety, and attention issues. Maryam understands that each patient is multidimensional, with unique expressions of mind, body, and spirit. By supporting the whole individual, Maryam helps her patients find balance in their lives.
Maryam helps her patients identify their specific needs and offers interventions targeted at restoring well-being. Patients can expect to have their experiences and concerns heard and addressed. In-session, Maryam combines traditional psychiatric medication, supportive therapy, mindfulness, meditation, guided visualization, emotional freedom therapy (ETFT), and energy medicine. Maryam has been working with patients 18-65 since 2003. She treats ADHD, anxiety, maladaptive coping skills, depression, grief, life transitions, medication management, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), self-esteem problems, sleep disorders, insomnia, stress, dual diagnoses, trauma, PTSD, women’s issues, impulse control issues, and mood disorders. Outside of work, Maryam loves cooking, meditating, and practicing yoga.

Medical Insurance Overview
Most of our providers are in-network with the following plans: Cigna, Meritain Health, Optum (Oscar, Oxford Health Plans, UnitedHealthcare) and Wellfleet. Fees for treatment vary depending on length of appointment and type of treatment received. Payment should be made at the time of the visit. We do accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA.
