Myea Meighan is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. Myea is passionate about assisting her patients with the necessary tools to help them navigate life in the way they strive to live it. She wants her patients to feel safe and comfortable. Sessions with Myea are a judgment-free zone. Myea believes most patients reach out to providers out of frustration. They feel stuck and would like guidance on how they can move forward to optimize their life. Through talk therapy and the appropriate medication regimen, Myea can assist her patients with that.
During sessions with Myea, patients can expect compassion, empathy, a patient-centered approach, and patience coupled with competence. She sees herself as a resource to her patients. Myea has been providing therapy since 2022 and works with patients ages 18-50. She uses a supportive blend of cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness to address concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, medication management, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship issues, sleep disorders, stress, men’s and women’s issues, trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, and more. Outside of work, Myea loves to eat (but not necessarily cook), travel, sing karaoke, explore her city, ride ATVs, and zip-line. Myea enjoys working for SohoMD because she believes in the company’s mission. She appreciates the support she receives and that she’s able to provide quality care for her patients.

Medical Insurance Overview
Most of our providers are in-network with the following plans: Cigna, Meritain Health, Optum (Oscar, Oxford Health Plans, UnitedHealthcare) and Wellfleet. Fees for treatment vary depending on length of appointment and type of treatment received. Payment should be made at the time of the visit. We do accept cash, all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA.
