Dr. Tisha Kelly-Brown is an Empowerment Coach, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (who prescribes medications and does individual therapy), and a university professor. She was born and raised in the boroughs of New York City and is currently living in East Stroudsburg, PA. She coaches clients to help them become more successful, and self-aware, increase their confidence and work through obstacles such as limiting beliefs to reach their goals and aspirations in life-related to their careers, education, parenting, relationships, and so much more.
Dr. Kelly-Brown has experienced firsthand being told by others that becoming a doctor and reaching all of the goals she wanted to obtain would be “too difficult.” However, she was able to exceed all her expectations by using motivational and empowerment practices. Dr. Kelly-Brown has worked for the last thirty-one years in private practice, taught at two universities, in the medical and mental health industry, in the United States Army as a Captain for eight years in a combat stress unit, and in the state prison system for fourteen years providing psychiatric services. She also served on the board of directors for Disabilities Rights of Pennsylvania for five years. Dr. Kelly-Brown holds a doctorate from Chatham University, a master’s degree from Drexel University, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix.

Medical Insurance Overview
Most of our providers are in-network with the following plans: Cigna, Meritain Health, Optum (Oscar, Oxford Health Plans, UnitedHealthcare) and Wellfleet. Fees for treatment vary depending on length of appointment and type of treatment received. Payment should be made at the time of the visit. We do accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA.
