Christina Dunne is a licensed clinical social worker. Christina helps her patients break down their concerns into smaller parts, so they feel less overwhelmed. Together, they formulate treatment goals to address those concerns by developing life and coping skills. Her goal is to inspire her patients to find their inner joy. Christina works with patients ages 12-64. She uses a strength-based, trauma-focused, culturally sensitive, humanistic approach that incorporates art therapy, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT), and positive psychology.
Christina is experienced in helping patients navigate personality disorders, family issues, disabilities, and LGBTQ+ issues. She also treats ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship issues, school issues, self-esteem problems, sleep disorders, stress, divorce, infidelity, men’s and women’s issues, trauma, PTSD, impulse and control disorders, mood disorders, and chronic illnesses. As an animal lover, Christina loves hearing about her patients’ pets. When she’s not working, she loves doing yoga, spending time in nature, writing, drawing, and using healing crystals.
