Krista Dwyer is a licensed clinical social worker. Krista is relaxed, compassionate, and thoughtful in her approach. The care she has for her patients and her passion for her work as a therapist come through in each session. She makes a point to get to know each of her patients, understands their lived experiences, and implement therapeutic strategies that are aligned with their goals. She aims to help patients create meaningful, sustainable life changes. While working with Krista, patients can expect services that are strengths-based and client-centered. Her approach is holistic, prioritizing the mind-body connection as the foundation for creating sustainable change. Krista is trained in TF-CBT therapy. She is culturally humble and has a wealth of experience working with patients from a wide variety of backgrounds. She has experience treating ADHD, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, self-esteem problems, stress, trauma, and women’s issues. She also specializes in attachment, anxiety/stress management, trauma, and self-esteem work.
Krista has been providing therapy since 2015 and works with patients in their twenties, thirties, and forties. She’s particularly well-suited to working with patients who have trauma – especially childhood trauma – or who have experience in the foster care system, has been adopted, or who have a multicultural background. When she’s not at work, Krista enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, and doing anything to do with art or reading. She’s an avid hiker, halfway decent crafter, and an expert museum wanderer. She is a dedicated plant mom and is a libra sun, moon, and rising. Krista enjoys working with SohoMD because she gets great support from the team and is always encouraged to expand her professional self.

Medical Insurance Overview
Most of our providers are in-network with the following plans: Cigna, Meritain Health, Optum (Oscar, Oxford Health Plans, UnitedHealthcare) and Wellfleet. Fees for treatment vary depending on length of appointment and type of treatment received. Payment should be made at the time of the visit. We do accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA.
