Candice Aparicio is a licensed clinical social worker. As a Mexican-American woman coming from a working-class family, Candice has experienced firsthand the difficulties and struggles stemming from classism, racism, colorism, and misogyny. These experiences make her uniquely equipped to support patients going through similar struggles. Candice seeks to build strong therapeutic alliances with her patients, aiding them in healing through connection. Thanks to her background in sociology and integrative trauma certification, Candice can help her patients fully understand how trauma has affected their lives in pursuit of healing.

Her eclectic approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, somatic experiencing, sensorimotor psychotherapy, and EMDR to provide collaborative care to her patients. She operates through a decolonizing lens, particularly with patients of color. Candice works with patients ages 18-65 treating depression, grief, peer relationships, intimate relationship issues, self-esteem problems, stress, trauma, PTSD, and mood disorders. Outside of work, Candice loves spending time with her pup, trying new coffee shops, hiking, traveling to new countries, and watching romantic movies.
