Cheryl’s clients include adolescents and adults experiencing issues related to trauma, stress, adjustment, depression, anxiety, co-occurring diagnoses, ADHD, sleep, bereavement, anger, self-esteem, parent-teen relational problems, and intimate partner distress. To create a safe space, Cheryl adheres to person-centered core values and attitudes including unconditional positive regard for the client, and a multicultural/LGBTQ+ affirmative approach to counseling. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional-II, Cheryl is particularly attuned to providing trauma-informed care for clients.
Cheryl uses integrative treatment modalities adapted to the client's goals, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Internal Family System informing. Has experience with intensive outpatient, and clinic levels of care, Cheryl also incorporates psychoeducation, behavioral approaches, mindfulness, and other relapse prevention strategies. Drawing upon additional training in culturally competent school counseling and experience as a private college admissions counselor, Cheryl understands the social, emotional, academic, college, and career challenges during adolescence and young adulthood.

Medical Insurance Overview
Most of our providers are in-network with the following plans: Cigna, Meritain Health, Optum (Oscar, Oxford Health Plans, UnitedHealthcare) and Wellfleet. Fees for treatment vary depending on length of appointment and type of treatment received. Payment should be made at the time of the visit. We do accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA.
