Appointments
Corazon LaFern Noyola is a licensed clinical social worker. During appointments with Corazon, patients can expect a professional, yet friendly demeanor with a hint of silliness. She offers a safe, understanding space and prioritizes open communication. Corazon knows working through life’s problems alone can feel daunting, even impossible. She works with patients to identify their problems, develop healthy coping skills, find healthy support, and enact behavioral changes. She fosters self-confidence in her patients to empower them to make positive changes in their lives.
Corazon uses motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and supportive/solution-focused therapy. Corazon works with patients ages 13-65 and treats anxiety, maladaptive coping skills, depression, life transitions, peer relationships, relationship issues, school issues, self-esteem problems, stress, dual diagnoses, impulse control disorders, and mood disorders. Corazon is of Mexican American and Native American ethnicity and identifies as an “Urban Native.” In her spare time, she enjoys aerial yoga, paddle boarding, and an eclectic range of music.
