Katherine Ibarra is a licensed clinical social worker. Katherine knows it takes courage to seek a happier, more fulfilling life. She takes her role in her patients’ lives very seriously. She aims to support and empower her patients, fostering empowerment so they can make effective changes in their lives. Katherine’s therapy style is warm and interactive. She doesn’t believe in stigmatizing labels. Instead, she approaches to therapy with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
Her approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness practices, forgiveness therapy, and solution-focused therapy. She tailors each session’s dialogue and treatment plan to meet each patient’s unique needs. Katherine has been providing therapy since 2017 and works with patients ages 18-64. She has worked with patients experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, ADHD, grief, life transitions, self-esteem problems, stress, trauma, PTSD, women’s issues, multicultural concerns, and more. Katherine loves spending time with family, traveling, and enjoying unique foods in her spare time.

Medical Insurance Overview
Most of our providers are in-network with the following plans: Cigna, Meritain Health, Optum (Oscar, Oxford Health Plans, UnitedHealthcare) and Wellfleet. Fees for treatment vary depending on length of appointment and type of treatment received. Payment should be made at the time of the visit. We do accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA.
