Lisa Bellamy is a licensed mental health counselor with a certification in victimology studies and trauma. Lisa prides herself in providing a warm, empathetic, collaborative, non-judgmental environment for her clients. You can expect to learn how to identify and understand your triggers and symptoms. With these tools, she will help pull together a treatment that implements coping skills, challenges inner conflict, and leaves you feeling empowered and hopeful you have what it takes to reach your goals.

Lisa treats patients ages 13 - 65 and those experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, peer relationships, school issues, stress, dual diagnosis, women’s issues, anger issues, and intermittent explosive disorder. She is passionate about working with BIPOC and other diverse populations through a multicultural lens to build trust and understanding. Her approach is integrative but consists of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), person-centered therapy, strength solution modalities, mindfulness and motivational interviewing (MI). In her free time, Lisa loves to try new foods and meet new people from different cultures. She is originally from Barbados (like Queen Rihanna), and her upbringing influences her practice by leaving clients with takeaways or old sayings to be more mindful of the changes they are creating in your life.
