Roxanne L. Turturro is a licensed clinical social worker. Roxanne is an insightful, compassionate, and highly-experienced provider with a diverse background in the mental health field. Roxanne makes sure to be fully present for each person she provides services to. She listens attentively with an open heart. She assists her patients in addressing and minimizing their presenting issues with evidence-based treatments that align with each individual’s needs. Her goal is to enrich patients so they can manifest and sustain harmony and peace in their day-to-day experiences. Roxanne is very eclectic in her approach and may use a blend of techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, self-compassion, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, emotional freedom technique, trauma-informed yoga, education, and skill-building.
Roxanne has been providing therapy since 1994 and is comfortable working with patients aged 13-50. She has experience treating a wide range of concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship issues, self-esteem, sleep issues, stress, trauma, PTSD, control disorders, mood disorders, and more. When she’s not at work, Roxanne likes hiking, biking, yoga, meditation, music, walking, dining out, traveling, and reading. She is sibling number five out of thirteen children in her family. Roxanne enjoys working at SohoMD because of the flexibility, support, colleagues, leadership, and diverse clinical experiences it provides.

Medical Insurance Overview
Most of our providers are in-network with the following plans: Cigna, Meritain Health, Optum (Oscar, Oxford Health Plans, UnitedHealthcare) and Wellfleet. Fees for treatment vary depending on length of appointment and type of treatment received. Payment should be made at the time of the visit. We do accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA.
