What We Offer

+
What services does SohoMD provide?

We've got your mental health covered with two main types of care:

Psychiatric Services

Medication Management – Expert guidance on psychiatric medications to ensure your treatment is both safe and effective Supplement Evaluation – Personalized recommendations for supplements and vitamins that can support your mental wellness journey

Therapeutic Services

Talk Therapy – Our diverse team uses evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique situation and goals

How do I know if I need therapy, medication, or both?

Mental health care isn't one-size-fits-all. Your journey is unique to you:

Some people thrive with therapy alone, working through challenges and building coping skills Others find that medication helps stabilize their symptoms so they can feel more like themselves Many discover that combining both approaches gives them the best results

Not sure where to start? We offer a free 10-minute meet and greet where you can chat with a provider about your concerns and explore what might work best for you. It's an easy way to take that first step toward feeling better.

What conditions do you treat?

We specialize in evidence-based treatment for many mental health challenges, including:

  • ADHD
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • OCD
  • Women's mental health concerns
  • Self-esteem issues
  • Relationship challenges
  • Grief and trauma
  • Stress and burnout
  • Mood disorders
  • Parenting difficulties

Our approach combines medication management, therapy, and holistic care to create a personalized plan that supports your long-term wellbeing.

Appointments & Scheduling

+
Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

Life happens! To reschedule:

  1. Log into your SohoMD/AMD Patient Portal
  2. Go to "Appointments"
  3. Select your appointment
  4. Choose a new time that works for you

Need to cancel? You can do that through the portal or by calling us directly.

We do ask for 24 hours' notice for changes, to respect your provider's time and keep appointments available for others who need care. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in a fee.

What if I miss an appointment?

We get it—things come up. But to keep our schedule running smoothly, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you miss your appointment without giving us at least 24 hours' notice, you might be charged a no-show fee.

Do you offer same-day or emergency appointments?

We're not an urgent care provider, so we don't offer same-day emergency appointments. If you're experiencing a crisis, please go to your nearest urgent care center or ER.

For non-urgent needs like prescription refills or treatment planning, we're here to help. Messages through our patient portal typically receive a response within 24–72 hours. Need more support? Call us at (212) 369-6757.

Insurance & Payment

+
Does SohoMD accept insurance?

Our team will also verify your insurance before your appointment and let you know what to expect

Questions? We're happy to help—just contact our office.

How do I check what my appointments will cost?

Your cost depends on your specific insurance coverage, including your copay, deductible, and coinsurance. For the most accurate information, call your insurance provider directly before your appointment.

What if my insurance doesn't cover your services?

No insurance coverage? No problem. We offer self-pay options so you can still get the care you need. Contact our office for details on pricing and payment plans.

Privacy & Security

+
Is my information and are my sessions confidential?

Absolutely. Your privacy is our priority:

All appointments are completely confidential and protected by HIPAA regulations

Your personal and medical information is securely stored
