About Josh

Josh is warm, empathetic, and extremely easy to talk to. He is passionate about validating others’ experiences and helping them gain self-awareness, insight, and self-acceptance. He uses a combination of talk therapy, assignments, and mindfulness techniques to cultivate healthy coping skills and help his clients face challenges with more wholeness and ease.

Josh works with clients ages 8 to 65 and treats ADHD, anxiety, maladaptive coping skills, depression, grief, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder, peer relationships, relationship issues, school issues, self-esteem issues, stress, divorce, dual diagnoses, infidelity, men’s issues, trauma, impulse and control disorders, and mood disorders. Josh uses psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, systematic desensitization, aversion therapy, flooding, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, rational emotive therapy, humanistic therapy, person-centered therapy, solutions-focused therapy, and others.
