About Maria
Maria Luisa Molina is a licensed clinical social worker. During sessions with Maria, patients can expect a safe, non-judgmental environment where they can explore their struggles and concerns. Maria understands that each of her patients has unique needs and goals. She aims to help them believe they can start implementing changes to accomplish these goals. Maria treats anxiety, depression, PTSD, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and adjustment disorders. She also helps patients through life transitions, peer relationships, intimate relationship issues, self-esteem problems, stress, and equips them with new coping skills. She is also proficient in EMDR. Maria has been a clinician since 2013. She has worked at intensive in-home therapeutic programs, residential programs, and hospital settings. In her spare time, Maria enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and going to art museums. She migrated from Ecuador when she was 17 years old and is fluent in English and Spanish. Maria enjoys working with SohoMD because of their experienced, caring team that understands the needs of its community.

About Angeli
Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.
Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music. She grew up inTrinidad and Tobago.
