Marija Marinkovic is a licensed clinical social worker. Marija is a warm and empathetic therapist who is finely attuned to people’s emotions. As people have their unique histories, experiences, and emotional buildup, she aims to provide an individualized approach to create a strong therapeutic partnership. Her goal is to empower patients so they can elevate themselves, experience more happiness, and achieve their goals. Whether patients are dealing with life transitions, adjustment, relationship issues, stress, anxiety, coping with losses, or depression, Marija helps her patients develop effective coping skills. Marija uses various approaches and therapeutic modalities to help her patients, including cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, solution-focused therapy, strength-based perspectives, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and exposure therapy. Marija has been providing therapy since 2015 and works with patients ages 18-65. She has experience counseling patients with mood disorders, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, chronic illnesses, neurological and physical impairments, burnout, and more. In her spare time, Marija enjoys music, attending concerts, and baking European layered cakes. She also loves nature, tennis, cheese, and walking her neighbors’ dogs. Before becoming a therapist, she was a professional flutist. She speaks English, Serbian, Croatian, and Bosnian. Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered.
