About Dania
Dania Codada is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. Coming from a culture where mental health is misunderstood, Dania understands the impact it can have mentally, physically, socially, and on various relationship dynamics. She strives to collaborate with her patients to support them to their fullest potential and enhance their quality of life. She always aims to inspire her patients to become their best selves. Life can sometimes take a toll. Dania is here to support and provide coping tools through warmth, compassion, open-mindedness, and nonpharmacological approaches to help empower her patients. Dania uses cognitive behavioral therapy to individualize patient care to her patient’s primary concerns. She has provided therapy since 2019 and works with patients ages 18-65. She has experience treating concerns like mood disorders, anxiety, depression, insomnia, trauma, grief, and more. Outside of work, Dania loves traveling, shopping, trying new restaurants, and listening to music. She speaks English and Haitian Creole. Dania enjoys working with SohoMD because of its innovative ability to provide work-life balance for its providers in a supportive environment. This enhances the care providers can offer their patients.

About Angeli
Angeli Pemberton is a licensed mental health coun-selor. Angeli’s approach is warm, compassionate, andpatient-centered. This DBT-informed therapist helpspatients become more empowered by teachingthem skills to manage their emotions and increasemindfulness. Angeli works especially well with indi-viduals who may not have felt safe, loved, or validatedin their relationships in the past. Her background intreating patients provides her with a unique frame-work that helps her guide individuals in exploringtheir issues’ root causes.
Angeli treats patients ages 18-55. She specializes intreating depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges,relationship issues, and stress related to life transi-tions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce,etc.). Angeli uses a psychodynamic approach to helppatients explore their past and gain self-awarenesswhen needed. She also uses solution-focused,strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapyapproaches to alleviate symptoms. In her spare time,Angeli loves to write and play music. She grew up inTrinidad and Tobago.
