Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Georgia
Regina, who has a doctorate in nursing, is dually board-certified in Family Practice and Psychiatry. She has worked as a nurse for over 20 years and has 10 years of experience as a nurse practitioner. She effectively diagnosing illnesses, and managing conditions with medications, patient education and counseling.
Regina believes in the holistic approach to care, that addresses the physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, social and environmental needs, and provides the optimal client wellbeing. She is compassionate and understands that a nurturing environment and a therapeutic relationship foster healing. Regina has worked in a wide range of clinical settings including hospitals, correctional facilities, retail health, nursing homes and house calls. Her primary focus is treating anxiety, depression (unipolar and bipolar) and ADHD.
Regina loves teaching and is a part-time nursing professor. She is actively involved in Christianity and enjoys singing gospel songs.
