Dena Damaskinos is a licensed mental health counselor. Dena engages with her patients to help them find a sense of empowerment. By validating her patients’ emotions and helping them feel heard, Dena helps her patients identify what’s keeping them stuck and what changes they need to make to see healing in their lives.
Dena helps her patients explore avenues for healing. It all begins with reaching out to start the conversation. She then uses a combination of motivational interviewing, unconditional positive regard, empathy, validation, solution-focused therapy, strength-based therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Dena specializes in treating and working with patients facing life transitions, depression, anxiety, codependency, relationship challenges, and self-esteem issues. She has experience working with patients managing co-occurring disorders. Dena has been providing therapy since 2017 and works with patients ages 18 and up. In her spare time, Dena loves art, music, and hiking. She is a proud dog and cat mom.

Medical Insurance Overview
Most of our providers are in-network with the following plans: Cigna, Meritain Health, Optum (Oscar, Oxford Health Plans, UnitedHealthcare) and Wellfleet. Fees for treatment vary depending on length of appointment and type of treatment received. Payment should be made at the time of the visit. We do accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA.
