Lauren Mariotti is a licensed clinical social worker. Lauren’s goal as a therapist is to provide a safe space and trusted partner whom her patients can work with to create a more peaceful, meaningful life. She guides patients on the path toward healing, away from the isolation that many of us feel when we are struggling with difficult emotions and behaviors. She makes a point to provide the space, time, and support for patients to explore their challenges and to take back control over their thoughts and behaviors.
Lauren focuses treatment on restoring hope using a strengths-based approach, rediscovering the patient’s true self, and using concrete coping skills to rewire neural pathways that have developed to perpetuate depression, anxiety, and unhealthy behaviors. She enjoys using nature themes as tools for healing. She believes that when we get back to our roots and find our natural balance and purpose, life becomes more meaningful and joyous. Lauren has been providing therapy since 2005 and works with patients ages 14 and up. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and chronic illness. When she’s not at work, Lauren loves gardening, spending time in nature, and fighting for food justice. She has a pet bunny, six chickens, and a dog. Lauren loves that SohoMD makes holistic therapy more accessible.

Medical Insurance Overview
Most of our providers are in-network with the following plans: Cigna, Meritain Health, Optum (Oscar, Oxford Health Plans, UnitedHealthcare) and Wellfleet. Fees for treatment vary depending on length of appointment and type of treatment received. Payment should be made at the time of the visit. We do accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA.
